Payment / Orders

Yes, Klarna is available. You can select Klarna at checkout to split your payment into manageable installments. Klarna offers several flexible payment options, including “Pay in 3” or “Pay Later,” depending on your eligibility. Simply choose Klarna when completing your purchase and follow the prompts to get approved instantly.

Our payment options include Shopify-facilitated methods such as Klarna, PayPal, Apple Pay & Google Pay, in addition to all major credit and debit cards.

Please contact us immediately with your order number. Changes or cancellations can only be made before your order is dispatched. Once shipped, you may need to follow our returns process.

Yes, you can request changes within 48 hours of placing your order. Please note that only design specifications — such as materials, stitching, and paddle shifters — can be amended. The base wheel and fitment cannot be changed once the order has been submitted.

We are not VAT registered, so we cannot provide a VAT invoice. However, an invoice will be automatically generated by Shopify after purchase. If you require a separate invoice, we can email one upon request.

Some modifications may affect your warranty, while others may not. Because policies differ between manufacturers and providers, we cannot confirm how our products will impact your warranty.

We recommend checking with your dealership, warranty company, or finance provider for specific guidance.

Returns

You can view our full returns policy here. Please note that returns must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be unused and not fitted
  • It must be returned in the same condition as received
  • It must include all original packaging

In some circumstances, only partial refunds may be issued, such as:

  • Items that are not in their original condition, are damaged, or have missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Custom steering wheels are made to order and are non-returnable. We allow design changes if requested within 48 hours of payment, but once production begins, the order cannot be cancelled or returned.

To ensure total accuracy, our specialists will verify all specifications with you before your order is finalized.

To start a return, please contact us and download the returns form. Fill out the form and send it back to us with the item.

We also recommend familiarising yourself with our full refunds and returns policy before proceeding to ensure your request meets all requirements.

To expedite your resolution, please include:

Once received, our team will prioritize your case to arrange a swift replacement or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy.

If the item you chose doesn’t fit, please contact us immediately. We’ll review your order details and guide you on the next steps. Do not attempt to force-fit the product, as this may cause damage.

Yes, we provide a 1-year warranty that covers manufacturing defects only. This warranty applies to faults in materials or workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage caused by improper installation, accidents, modifications, or general wear and tear.

If you believe your product is affected by a manufacturing defect, please contact us with your order number and supporting evidence, such as photos or videos, and our team will be happy to assist you.

Shipping

A tracking number will be provided once your order has been dispatched. In-stock items are shipped the same day if ordered before 3pm on working days, and tracking details are sent within a few hours.

For custom builds, tracking will be issued only after production is complete and the order is ready to ship.

We currently ship to UK mainland only, but we are working on offering international shipping in the near future.

We may be able to provide international shipping to European countries, for any special requests, please contact us or alternatively message us directly on our WhatsApp.

You can request a change to your shipping address after payment, but only before your order has been dispatched. Once an order has shipped, the address cannot be amended.

Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to update your details.

Yes, we offer free next-day delivery on all orders placed before 3pm on working days. Custom builds also qualify for next-day delivery once production is complete. Please note that we do not dispatch orders on weekends.

Fitting

Expert installation is available exclusively for customers who purchase a CarbonGrip steering wheel or product. To secure your mobile installation, we require a £20 non-refundable deposit, which is fully credited toward the cost of your chosen installation package. Once your order is placed, our team will coordinate a dedicated booking slot that suits your schedule.

We provide a premium mobile installation service based out of Berkshire. We bring our expertise directly to your doorstep or chosen location. For locations within a 20-mile radius of Berkshire, there is no call-out fee. If you are located further afield, we are happy to arrange travel for an additional fee to ensure you receive our professional fitment.

To ensure our clients aren't kept waiting, we maintain a curated network of specialist partner garages. If our direct booking calendar is at capacity, we can refer you to one of our trusted local experts who meet CarbonGrip’s strict standards for quality and care.

To guarantee the safety, quality, and fitment of the finished product, we exclusively fit CarbonGrip products. This ensures that our technicians are working with components they know intimately and can guarantee for the road ahead.

Safety and precision are our highest priorities. Following every installation, we perform a complimentary diagnostic scan and a comprehensive safety test. This verifies that all airbag systems, paddle shifters, and button functionalities are operating perfectly before we hand back your keys.

To cater to the complexity of different vehicle setups, we offer three distinct tiers of service:

  • Direct Fit: For straightforward wheel swaps.
  • Component Fit: Includes the transfer of your existing controls and trim.
  • Integrated Fit: Our most comprehensive service for advanced configurations and custom electronics.

Custom Projects

Think of the configurator as your base layer. We are a bespoke workshop—if you want a specific "one-of-one" carbon weave, custom-etched branding, or a material you’ve never seen on a wheel before, use the Extra Notes section. If you can dream it, our engineers can likely build it.

You can refine your design during your 24-hour consultation. Once you approve the final blueprint and production begins, the design is locked to ensure we meet our precision 4-week deadline.

Yes. We use OEM-grade cores to ensure all sensors, vibration, and lane-assist features remain 100% functional. Please specify in your brief if you wish to retain a heating element.

Absolutely. Upload your reference photos in Step 2. Our design team will reverse-engineer the exact colours, textures, and stitch patterns to match your vision perfectly.

Excellence takes time. Our handcrafted process—including carbon infusion and hand-stitching—takes up to 4 weeks. This ensures your wheel remains flawless for the lifetime of your car.

We specialize in "OEM+" hardware. Specify any custom paddles or additional buttons in your notes so our engineers can verify wiring harness compatibility during your specialist review.
